Great story about our older players-- it sounds like we have some potential "scouts" that Tommy can tap into in various countries.

Great find. Great article about them and other former GU players (Kuso, Foster and Barham). Go ex zags.

Interesting to see that there are Zags parlaying their international play into coaching gigs. That could really lead to a great network.

Great article...cool to hear Zags are lookin out for each other.
I had no idea Wil Foster was hoopin in Japan, and it's great to learn Ira Brown and Josh Heytvelt are playing together. Hopefully Drew Barham et al can see each other during Christmas.

I understand that Ira became a Japanese citizen this October, which means he definitely could. See the last page of his thread in Old Dogs

Raise your hand if you had Monninghoff putting up better numbers (slightly) than Elias Harris in the same German League. Granted Elias is on a better team and he is coming off the bench, but still.

Josh selected AsiaBasket.com Player of the week for two consecutive weeks.

Josh is such an impressive player and puts up great numbers wherever he goes. It puzzles me that he hasn't found a long-term home at a great team, if not in the NBA.

Sweet, good for him. Any idea of what kind of salaries they pay in Japan? Similar to Europe? less?

I don't get it either. It can't be all about the shroom thing. The weight gain to play center at GU didn't help, nor did the foot injuries, but he still has lots of game and can stretch the floor. Hoping he's happy. At least he's gotten to see some cool places. I still wish he'd gotten a chance stateside. Weird how some guys you think have an NBA game never get the chance.
