In before the poll... and before the game ends.

GBJ broke their back early and often.

Had to vote GBJ, but I really, really like the way Perkins ran the team through the second half. He is going to be really good.

Was GBJ for me. Fairly limited minutes, and he scored his 18 points in what seemed like about 120 seconds. Lol

And that acrobatic spin/catch and 3 at the 5:25 mark.....that just isn't fair to St. Joseph's!! Haha

But wow, so many impressive parts to this team. I could start 13 different threads about it all.

Voted Perkins - loved seeing his ownership of the team when the seniors were off the floor.

Agree. Really plays with his head up and easily throws over the press and finishes strong at the rim.

voted for bell

Because some people look at things differently than you do? :) I went with Wesley because he had 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists which I thought was worthy of a player of the game.

Gary Bell. Really glad he had that kind of game, and that kind of night. That first half tonight Gonzaga looked pretty darn good. Wow!

New 1000 point club member Gary Bell, Jr. get my vote.

Honorable mention to Mr. Sabonis for his double - double.

3rd Place: BobZag for predicting St. Joes would be tougher than SMU

Question, who was the last GU big to get a double double this early in the season? Coming off the bench too. I think Dower got his first his senior year...

Went with Karnowski for getting it going when he could have been hanging his head after the last few games

Everyone's entitled to an opinion. Bell was absolutely on fire in the first half, his shooting blew the game wide open. Honestly what happened in the second half didn't even matter, the game was already over.

Gary Bell Jr. won my vote. He's been an ultimate team player and deserves a moment in the sun.

Loved Sabonis, Perkins and Wesley tonight.

Yes indeed. This is a team, and it was an absolute team effort. GBJ got crazy hot, but had assists on all of them I think.

Off topic, I had a bet on how long it would take Conner Griffin to attempt a dunk. My bet was 1 minute. It turns out it was 4. Still it is awesome, and I'll cheer harder than anyone when he pulls it off.

Voted for Bell - tempted to vote for other the Defense, holding any D- 1 team to 10 pts for a half is amazing.

Another game where the team was just outstanding, but I agree with the majority, voted for Bell.

GBJ - Hot kid! The football score whilst being tackled by 2 StJs was awesome! Pangos, Bell, who's it gonna be Saturday? I'm betting yet another Zag will move up the GUnit ranks. Go Zags!

I voted Sabonis. He seems fierce and like he's got a bit of a mean streak, but I liked watching him help his opponent off the floor after one particular play. I actually get really irritated seeing players step over the competition when they're down. It's one thing if its a heated, emotional play -- but it seems like general policy in college basketball is to run to your teammates to help them off the floor, and to ignore the other team if they're down. Sportsmanship should be the last thing anyone is willing to lose in sports, particularly at the college level.

i voted Pangos, the team just flows so much better when he is on the floor.
