Take one shot at a bold prediction for this years team. A bold prediction is one you think could well happen but others say "Yeah, right...." It can be regarding the record, a win, tournament, or players and their stats. Two years ago, I predicted Gary would lead the team in scoring. That was bold. The fact that it was wrong is irrelevant.

Nunez challenges Sabonis for most minutes as the first big off the bench. Averages 9 pts per game and is part of an 8-9 man rotation deep into the season. If you think about the number of guys we have who can play ... that's pretty bold.

I predict we will not see the Red uniforms, but might see the dumb Black ones at least a couple of times.

I predict we will still hear "Living on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi , "Kernkraft 300" by Zombie Nation and "Don't Fear the Reaper" (AKA More Cowbell) by Blue Oyster Cult at home games.

I predict that the Kennel Club will chant "on your feet" at the old farts at least twice this season.

Gonzaga will win their National Semi-Final game. I'm not sure about the next game yet as I have to see if Sabonis is as good as Jazz thinks he is. But I'd have to say that making the Final Four and winning at least one game there should qualify as "bold".

I predict it will be an enjoyable season. I predict that many people, perhaps including me, will become irrationally confident of GU making a major statement at the top level of the NCAA Tournament. I predict that in the end, things will work out about the same this year as the last 5 years.

Sometimes the line between BOLD and delusional can be tough to define.

I like it, though. I could see 66% (as very bold).

LIZFs 3 losses, for the whole season, meaning we enter the tournament with 2 or we win it all? With all our talk about our 11 first team All-Americans, is that even bold?
