Well, this doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me ... From Sportando (http://www.sportando.com/en/europe/russia/128739/micah-downs-signs-with-bc-avtodor.html)...

Micah Downs signed a deal in Russia with BC Avtodor, according to sources.
The American forward has played shortly with Budivelnyk and then with Erie BayHawks in D-League averaging 15.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.

As far as I can tell, it appears to be north of the Caspian Sea and bordering Kazakhstan. Really, this is better than Erie? I hope he gets paid and I hope he lives to collect.

Micah has been doing really well with Avtodor. He was MVP of a game today:

Game story: "Avtodor extends winning streak in Samara" (http://www.vtb-league.com/en/news/avtodor-extends-winning-streak-in-samara.htm)

Avtodor Saratov defeated Krasnye Krylia Samara on the road, 97-80. The visitors dominated the first half before nearly throwing away a 20-point lead in the 3rd quarter. But Vladimir Rodionov's men held on and picked up their 5th straight victory.

Avtodor had a playoff bid practically sewed up entering this game but hoped to keep its momentum rolling in Samara. 13-12 prior to tip-off, the visitors also had a chance to pull within a game and a half of UNICS with a win. As for Krasnye Krylia, despite being eliminated from playoff contention, Boris Sokolovsky's men hoped to reward their loyal fans with a win at home.

Star of the Game
Micah Downs. The American forward has made huge strides this season. Downs once again played a terrific game, leading Avtodor with 23 points and an efficiency rating of 27.
