I thought we might sneak into 24-25 but nope. We win some games in the tournament, we'll be in. Lots of losses coming up for others. Us too.

BPI was a bit better.

Oklahoma not rated at all in either poll. Zags have an RPI of 22 and Oklahoma 45; and finally the Zags have a BPI of 25 and Oklahoma state 19. They beat us only in the BPI. And not by much. I think these are two pretty equal teams, but I give the not to the Zags because they are playing in the West. It is a neutral arena, but I think more fans will be pulling for Gonzaga.

Not quite. Zags "finish" the AP at 27. The ESPN poll "finishes" after the Final Four. Hopefully the Zags will finish that poll in the Top 15 (or better).

We were #26 last Monday, we go on to destroy St Marys and BYU, and we drop.

Disturbing.

The nation has already written the narrative for GU this season. It is time to turn that upside down.

This is somewhat that I had referred to in the 68 team S curve. Gonzaga and Wichita State were not listed as having played games the final week, 8 out of the 24 other teams in the AP top 25 DID NOT LOSE! That means that 16 teams ranked above the Zags #26 did lose. Some lost to higher ranked teams, but not all. SMU lost in the first round, and still the Zags dropped a spot.
The East Coast doesn't watch, or care, what the Zags do. If the Coaches and Newswriters don't care enough to watch the games, they shouldn't vote in the polls. Pretty simple.
