Things have changed in the past several years, but that used to be the one and only game that was not on regular TV. Roughly 9:30 AM (4 thursday, 3 friday), and 12:00 (4 Thursday, 4 Friday), and 4:30 (4 Thursday, 4 Friday), and 7:00 (4 Thursday & 4 Friday) were televised everywhere.

Do the math and that is 15 games. The one game of the 16 Thursday/Friday games that was not part of the CBS national broadcast used to be played at about 1:40 PDT in the Friday western regional.

I'm thinking this is just one more example of why THIS is the year. The more disrespected we are and the lower the expectations, the better we are going to play.

I believe!

That couldn't have been a better time. I'll be home from work with 20 minutes to spare, enough time to grab a beer and place an order for a stromboli.

You must not live far from work. Springfield Va is notorious for traffic isn't it (I95)?
Gottlieb doesn't care too much for the Zags, I am sure he is picking Cowboys.

I go to work really stinking early to beat traffic.

Sort of bummed by the 1:40 tip-off time as I will be at work; however, I have an office with a door that closes and great internet connection......safe to assume I will be able to watch Zags game online?!!

The only part I hate about my job is that I have to work 40 hours in 4 days before the tournament starts:

6am-6pm Monday through Wednesday
6am-10am on Thursday. Gets me home with time to spare to watch all of the great tournament action. I wanna see it all.

Hopefully Zaggies can make a deep run. We are doubted, we are G-U!

Still don't get all the hatred directed at Gottlieb here. He's a di@k for sure, but I really feel like he's always been fair to us. Out of all the talking heads on CBS and ESPN yesterday, he's the only one (whom I saw) who expressed some confidence in the Zags in this first round game. Mentioned Dower. And that's against his own team. If there was one team he was really ragging on it was BYU. Same deal two years ago with BYU, and at that time he even went as far as to criticize them for the no-play Sunday / Mormon restrictions.

Having said that, I don't think Gottlieb (especially with his biases) should be calling games. Wasn't a fan of listening to him during the two games last year. But let's not forget that Public Enemy Number 1 is Jon Rothstein.

Also, was it just me or did the lighting on Vitale on ESPN last night for his typical post-selection rants make him look like an Ooompa Loompa?

I've never been to Grevey's, but Kilroys is a mile from my house. They have plenty of tv's there. It would probably be a good spot to watch the game.

If anyone is in the legal profession in Clackamas County Oregon and has a trial scheduled to start on Friday please settle the case so I don't have to show up for jury duty.

I miss Gus Johnson calling NCAA tournament games more than I miss anything on TV.

Is there any indication of when the game on Sunday might be? I'm traveling and need to plan around the game.

Good luck - this should be a thread in the FOO offering up ways to get out of jury duty.

Thanks, I could have deferred to the summer (which wasn't great) but decided to take a calculated risk that they won't need me. I have a high juror number and only two days in the last 3 weeks have they needed anyone that high, and all the Fridays have been light. If you see a thread pop up in the FOO on Thursday night looking for tips to get out of jury duty, it will be apparent my gamble failed.

Different strokes for different folks. I really don't care for him. I feel like his excitement and enthusiasm are contrived. He's really bad doing football but that's just one man's opinion. He is better than Dick Vitale, but then Vitale does color so not fair to compare.

Back on topic, at least somewhat. If you go to GoZags.com and go to the schedule page, there is a link that lets you export the schedule to your calendar. I synched it with my Google calendar and the games, times, and locations all show up automatically on my calendar. It even adjusts for my timezone. Very convenient. The Ok St game popped up on my calendar on Monday.
