2. The Epic in Miami--the January 2, 1982 NFL playoff game between Miami and San Diego, the greatest NFL football game I've ever seen on television.

3. The War--Tommy the Hit Man Hearns v. Marvelous Marvin Hagler in 1985, the greatest and most action-packed three rounds of boxing I've ever seen on television. Amazing to find out 20 years later than Hearns broke his right hand early in the fight, after nearly knocking Hagler down when he hit him on the head. Hearns said Hagler's head felt like an iron wrecking ball.

4. The Runner

5. The 1971 "Game of the Century" between Nebraska and Oklahoma in gridiron, won by the Johnny Rodgers and the Cornhuskers 35-31
