To brutalize Chris Berman - NOBODY circles the wagons like the Gonzaga Bulldogs. There have been many years we have been counted out, only to bounce back and surprise everyone.

BZ doesn't call him FEW 32 for nothin' - - to get this team that far, as far as last year, in a rebuilding year, would be a miracle. And coming up on reloading next year, I'll take it. Start it tonight!

I found myself thinking about the recent losses and taking myself back to the beginning of the season. After loosing some top-line players there was a lot of talk about a ?|"down year", "rebuilding", "finding a new focus", learning "how to get a new group to play together", etc.
Now I sit here and look at a 23-6 record and one more win (which will come tonight - 85-70) for a league title and think that it hasn't been so bad. I managed to get over to a couple of games in the Kennel this year and found the Zag spirit alive and well - and that spirit will rise in this team.
