This was a very good win for Gonzaga. Took control fairly early and never looked back (something a zags team hasn't done well at USF for half a decade or so).

Dower, but man Karno showed some intensity. Our guards got through a tough shooting stretch without getting rattled. It was a good game, but man did it get slow at the end.

Sam Dower, but you have to love KD's 12 rebounds and Karno's defense in the paint

Dower.

The team played outstanding defense in the first half.

Dower, but loved Kyle's contribution. If there was an option for team free throw shooting, I would've picked that one. It saved our bacon tonight, 82.9% as a team, good job Zags.

Seems like Draino has been one of our better rebounders throughout the season. Tonight he just had a little more

Dower for sure! But a good team game also. Kyle with 12 rebounds! Karnowski 12 points and 8 rebounds! and Gary Bell with 13 points! Glad to see Stockton hitting the clutch free throws too, as well as Sam's 12 of 13 free throws!

Only 38.8% from the field, and 18.8% from three, though! Yikes! Did anyone else think Pangos looked sick or something? Kind of red in the face and overly sweating. Or maybe he was just in pain.

Went with Kyle. Brought a lot of energy and was literally everywhere around the ball. He's really coming along nicely.

We lose this game without Kyle Dranginis. Such maturity . Mr everything and everywhere. What a great season he mounting. Few and staff found an absolute jewel. Sam though played so "big"! tough call.

Sam- Gunit...awesome game! Shem with his hard nose play and playing smarter every game gets a runner up along with Kyle.

Keep winning Zags... Just one at a time. Nice to be able to drop two games (on the road) God forbid another injury or round of the flu and still be soley in first place. Even better if we just keep separating ourselves from the rest!!!!!

I actually gave it to Shem as we would have needed a whole lot more points if he hadn't policed the middle so well. I hope everyone appreciates what the big man is doing on defense and not just the obvious blocks.

SD very close second!

I got the impression that Pangos took a good shot to that foot early on and was never quite the same. No replay from this Bay Area homer crew so couldn't see what happened. (When the games are in Spokane, do the visiting teams get the Heister crew on their TVs?). Probably another thread but not impressed with either the w.tv crews or these other local crews.

According to Zags beat writer Jim Meehan, Pangos sprained his ankle on that play; Karnowski thought KP stepped on his foot and rolled it. Pangos is still in the ranks of the walking wounded.

Friendly fire is killing Gonzaga. This would be more fun if we inflicted this damage to the other team.

Correct....but Meehan added Kevin "re-aggravated" the Turf-Toe injury on Friday as well. Walking wounded for him is an understatement!

Sam. He was only trying to show Rex he could actually start on his team. I found it rather interesting that Sam was asked to shoot the Rex technical free throws -- one more in the side of Rex.
