8 Games on the Calendar, including a trip to Memphis and national coverage via ESPN's "Game Day" on the 8th. 3 games at home, 5 on the road.

How will the Zags fare ? Are you hopeful, optimistic, worried, anxious, confident ???

Loss to Memphis and another team on the road.

Honestly I am not too sure about this one. I think we may be able to surprise Memphis, but yet again, we still haven't beat them. I voted Oblivion. I just don't know.

8-0. Zags are better than every team they will play.

Pretty sure we beat them in Memphis a few years back. Maybe pastners second year?

During the Calipari days, no it was not pretty.

I definitely see us dropping one. USF is always a challenge when we play on their court, Memphis ain't "scurred" of us at all after the schedule they've had, and BYU probably hates us back enough to pull a Carrie and burn the gym down with us in it. I think we lose 1 of those games, maybe 2. My vote went to "7-1" and I'll hope for 8-0!

WOW. Idk why I don't remember that game. Must have been flipping burgers and just don't remember it. I usually remember stuff like that. Wow. Good catch. Sorry for the false information.

Memphis and BYU are going to challenge. However, we can win both. Kiddwell takes the pessimistic route, though, by saying 6-2. (Hopefully during the same interval BYU loses two more too.)

I am sticking with the pattern; a loss a month.

Sounds like the same with our series with Illinois

Yup only one we won was with Elias Harris' last shot. NOW that one, I remember.

I expect they'll lose two of the road games. Could be any of 'em.

I went with 6-2. Suspect we will go 2-2 against Memphis, USF, USD, and BYU.

I'm quite surprised I'm the only 5-3 vote. We will see if I'm prescient.

I voted 6-2.

Although the Zags have the second best record in approx. the past 10 years (last year being the exception) at this point in the season (19-3), we are simply not as dominant as in years past. A couple more losses probably wouldn't be the end of the world, but...I'd be close.

It was in 2009/2010 -----The score: Zags 66 Memphis 58---Our only win of the series.

We almost got another win but lost by a single point (78-77) on Feb. 17th 2006/2007 in the Spokane Arena...I remember it all too well, my BIRTHDAY!! :argh:

That 2010 win was even more surprising since it was arguably one of Elias Harris' worst games in a Zag uniform: 2/14 shooting, 6 points.

Will Foster picked up the slack, hitting 4/5 for 8 points in 13 minutes.

And Drew Barham failed to score for Memphis, missing one 3 pointer in two minutes of action.

I think we drop 1 game to a team we fully expect to beat, and we beat all of the teams we thought would be a challenge!

P.S. Who thought that this team would be as successful as it has been this season so far? I must admit, as much as I love the Zags, I did not think that we would have as much success as we have had this year after losing Elias and Kelly

This team has had more success than I had thought - - but it's been all at home basically. Kansas State? Portland? One shot short of Santa Clara? Even still we've had a lot of success considering the injuries. But, I saw a lot of us patting ourselves on the back after the 4-0 start including the one legged man in an ass-kicking contest against SMC and then. . . Portland.

I thought we lost last night until we didn't. I'm very nervous. Kevin has to heal or Gary has to take over before I'll feel confident.

Anyone who thinks the Zags will lose even one game in February should be immediately and permanently banished.

I went with 6-2. I also will predict 29-5 heading to March Madness.
