    Zags need this guy

Georgetown center Joshua Smith has been ruled academically ineligible for the remainder of the season, coach John Thompson III announced Friday prior to the team's departure for Saturday's game against Creighton.

Maybe the NCAA could make him immediately eligible (again)

    Seattle U.?
    But we don't play nobody.

I remember how badly I wanted Josh when the Zags were recruiting him. I wonder how he would have fared if he'd become a zag. Looks like a kid with no self-discipline. Too bad.

If I remember right, Josh was a burger boy.

He was and still is, that's his problem. He can't put down the burgers, or donuts, or ice cream….etc.
Too bad, this kid has the softest hands of a big man I've seen since KLove.

This kid is a mess... if he could slim down a bit, work on his conditioning, and keep up with his academics, he'd easily be a lottery pick... and the NCAA gave him a free pass of playing an extra semester, yet he squandered it away

I knew one of Josh's team mates and his family when I lived in Tacoma. My nephew coached this team mate in tennis who was also a good basketball player (the team mate is now playing tennis for the UW). I have followed Josh since his Sophmore season. I had really hoped he'd be a Zag. It's sad to see what has happened to him. If Few decided to give him a chance I would not be unhappy. One thing I love about Mark Few is he has often given a second chance to some players looking to rebuild their basketball lives.
Go Zags!!! The Best Is Yet To Come!!!
