Zag women V Oklahoma tonight .... For those wondering: you can watch game vs. Okla at 5pm on Fox Sports Southwest (Directv 677, Dish 437) or FCS Central (Spokane Comcast 414). Realize this is also on the appropriate board.

Just an FYI. Last night (at the dii level) m. Keita had 29 points. It is his career high. Not bad for an x zag.

D2 was right for him. Whatever happened to Monninghoff?

That is also the top level of Bundesliga. TBB Trier is a midlevel team right now. In Euroleagues you just want to make sure you don't get relegated. Something I wish we had in most of our sports... there has to be incentive to not intentionally suck... I'm talking to you KC Royals and various NBA teams over the years. The Clippers for years used to be deserving of relegation.

Sure would make the bottom of the standings games at the end of the year exciting! Those would be as huge as the real playoff games.

The SMC v No.Dakota State game is far better than first appearances. North Dakota State is coming off a 24 win season finishing 3rd in conference, runner up in the conference tournament and has everyone back. SMC should handle them but it is a decent game for them.

The English Premier League relegates the bottom three teams per year and promotes the top three teams of the Championship League. Same goes for all European leagues. The final day is incredibly exciting.

LMU tied with LB St. at the half.

Anybody catch any of Texas Tech/Alabama? Where are the students (or the rest of the crowd)?

I saw a documentary on the league on one of the channels and it really did seem like a genius idea. Fans were passionate and engaged. However, the saying "there is always next year" sort of goes out the window for the losers. Getting sent down a league is about as high stakes as winning it all.

You think SMC will handle NDSU? NDSU may be able to finish as a top 100 RPI team. Not terribly exciting but not totally insubstantial. I love that the conference is racking up wins.

Washington down 21 to the Anteaters of UC Irvine with 10 minutes left. Pacific dispatched UC Irvine earlier this week.

North Dakota State shoots 52.6% from three in their first game and then shoots 7.7% from three against St Marys----good to see they were off tonight to give the WCC another win.

Hmm, wonder how much of that was defense and how much was fluky cold shooting.

Glad SMC got the win. There schedule doesn't afford them much opportunity to make up for losses to teams they are expected to beat, even if they are pretty decent programs.
