Can't wait to see if Kelly's success from summer league can carry over to preseason.
Lets Go K.O.!!!

Turns out we can get the pre-game show, but not the game. But if you have NBA League Pass--we do--it is on 561 (Dish).

Kelly already with some quality plays: some nice passes and a transition lay-up

Am watching the game. Kelly's first points as a pro (true, it's only exhibition) was running the fast break with Sullinger, who passed off to Kelly for a hard layup which he made where he got fouled. Nice to see the big guy running the court. Also has 2 nice assists.

Kelly's forcing a lot of turnovers and just picked up his 4th assist

4 points on I believe 2-2 shooting, 1 board and 4 assists. The announcers are raving about his passing skills and IQ, among other things. I never thought I would be a Celtics fan!

might be 1-2 from the field and 2-3 from free-throw line. not sure. saw him make and miss a free throw at two different times

Interesting to see Daye and Olynyk at this stage in their professional careers given their differing approach to the NBA.

Daye arrived at Gonzaga oozing with potential which he parlayed into becoming the 15th overall draft pick after 2 years while Olynyk parlayed his talent and lots of hard work into becoming the 13th overall draft pick after 5 years. Pretty much the same draft position, but I think Kelly will wind up having a much more successful pro career having arrived NBA ready whereas Austin has yet to establish himself in the League.

Perhaps Karno can learn something from their respective choices.

So far so good. He is making great decisions with the ball. Doesn't seem to have any trouble with the speed of the game.

I never thought I'd be a celtics fan either.

Pargo's Russian team is playing Ronny and the Timberwolves too. Not sure if it is televised.

It is painful for me to have to root for both the Celtics AND Lakers now.

K.O. just killed a Toronto fast break by taking a charge, then assisted for a score on the other end. He looks perfectly at ease playing at that level.

It will be interesting to see how Rondo and Wallace can mentor and compliment these young whipper-snappers. A young team with huge rebuilding potential. If they guys can keep a humble attitude I don't think Boston will have the most losses in the league.

This is fabulous, getting to hear about/watch our ex players in their pro games. I'd like to get them on tape somehow so I could watch them when I get the chance.

We got NBA League Pass for the first time when we had 4 players in the league. It was well worth it, because we got to see Rob, Ronny, Austin, and Jeremy play. You get to see up to 40 games a week--which is more than we will ever watch.

This year we renewed to see our 5 players in the NBA--Rob, Ronny, Kelly, Elias, and Austin.

It cost $189 to renew--don't know if that's a special price or not.

Go to NBA.com and check it out.

I root for our guys without rooting for their teams. . .would rather walk on broken glass than pull for the Fakers.

I hope the Zags in the NBA do well.

Exactly.

And I have no real NBA loyalty at all (I was a sort of Jazz fan during the salad days when l lived in SLC) I would be just fine if the Celtics and the Lakers tied 35-35 as long as all the points were scored by Zags.

Kelly took at least three charges that I counted and dished out 5 assists. For his first real game at NBA level I think that that showed how cerebral a player he is. Played on the second unit, could end up being in the first unit by the end of the exhibition season. He and Sully are already working well together.
