CSKA Moscow pursuing Jeremy Pargo
The American PG set to return to Europe?

CSKA Moscow has yet to finish the season but it is already planning next year.

The Russian powerhouse is pursuing American PG Jeremy Pargo. The player spent the current season in the NBA with Cavaliers and Sixers averaging 6.8ppg and 2.4apg in 39 games.

According to newspaper Israeli Hayom, Pargo is close to pen a two-year deal with CSKA Moscow, which is rumored to be, per Eurohoops, a 2 million dollars per season.

From Eurobasket (http://basketball.eurobasket.com/Russia/news/CSKA_closing_in_on_Jeremy_Pargomonitoring_Fridzon/318916):
The VTB final series will start tonight, but CSKA Moscow are already working around the clock for next season.
Rumors around Europe are linking American guard Jeremy Pargo (188-PG-86, agency: Priority Sports, college: Gonzaga) to CSKA Moscow,According to a senor source from Moscow the deal is not done,or sealed at all:"Pargo is a name that we are following, nothing has agreed,we are talking with players, hearing plans but nothing is singed with Pargo, its just rumors".
But info we got from Pargo's camp, his most likely destination will be ,indeed, Moscow,The two parties had a meeting in London during the Euroleague Final Four,in that meeting most of the clauses were agreed. Pargo was highly wanted by Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv,but the team from Israel couldn't compete with the Financial package that was offered by CSKA Moscow.
Other player that CSKA Moscow is very interested in is Vitaliy Fridzon (195-G-85, agency: Alti Sport),Who officialy left BC Khimky Moscow Region last night. But according to sources close to the player,he has a big offer from Lokomotiv Kuban and also from Turkish giants Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul.Fridzon wants to remain in Russia, and probably will end between Moscow (CSKA Moscow) or Krasnodar.

Looking like a done deal (http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/playerbreakingnews.asp?sport=NBA&id=1512&line=209771&spln=1):
Jeremy Pargo has agreed to a deal with CSKA Moscow, a source told Sportando.

Pargo will earn $2.2 million per season with the team, far more than he could have garnered playing in the NBA. It's a smart move by Pargo to go to a team where he'll be able to get paid and play meaningful minutes rather than scrapping in summer league just for a chance to sit at the end of some team's bench. How safe is Moscow for a young man with that kind of money?

Looks like it's a done deal; 2 years, $5.2 million.

Awesome for Pargo!

Russia sure is spending a lot of coin on U.S. players.

I heard Sue Bird's over there making $950K/year (think she maxed out at about $140K in the WNBA).
