Heads up to any Gonzaga fans/alum living in Arizona. This was in the Arizona Daily Star a few weeks back.

------------------------------------------------
-- In 2014-15, UA's schedule will feature road games at UNLV and UTEP, and home games against Michigan and Gonzaga. The Wildcats will also play in the 2014 Maui Invitational.

-- In 2015-16, Arizona will host Missouri and UNLV, and play at Gonzaga and, likely, at another team to be determined.
------------------------------------------------

My only questions is does "play at Gonzaga" mean in Seattle, downtown at the Arena or back out because the Pac-12's fear of losing to a "lesser" school?

I live in Arizona. Kindly beat them twice, Zags.

The article in the Star from February (http://azstarnet.com/sports/article_97b394b1-c5b4-5526-a7cd-c6db8537bf69.html) mentioned that Arizona would play its first ever game at Gonzaga.

For the third year in a row, Gonzaga coach Mark Few has given the Wildcats the keys to the Martin Centre for practice, allowing UA to stay in Spokane and just travel to Pullman the afternoon of their WSU game.

And even though the Bulldogs used to have trouble enticing elite teams to play them in Spokane, there were no strings attached to Few's offer.

As it turns out, Miller is willing to play the Zags anyway. Arizona and Gonzaga are scheduling a two-year, home-and-home series beginning in 2014-15, meaning the Wildcats will play their first-ever game at Gonzaga.

"Nonconference scheduling is more competitive and playing good teams doesn't necessarily hurt you. They only help," Miller said.

They've played at Key Arena before, and it mentioned home-and-home (but nothing about neutral sites) so I took that to mean K2, and not the Arena.

Cool. 2 premiere Pac-12/WCC games!

Much tougher competition since arguably they are the top Pac-12 school. If UW won't step up, others are happy to.

Arizona and who? I must have missed some news.

Arizona and who? I must have missed some news.

One opponent, two games. OZN prefers to see the bright, if pollyanish, side of most things here. 😉

I'm thinking OZN means one pac12 game each year = 2 game total.

While Jazz prefers the glass half empty...sky is falling approach.

Good to have a solid home an home on the schedule.

Go Zags.

Good news on home and home with AZ. How about a home and home with U of Nike / Oregon. Both GU and UO are "Nike Schools", and it would be great to see Few's connection with the Eugene area be highlighted / exploited. Having GU play 3 Pac 12 teams per season (assuming the WSU game remains alive) would be great fun and a good RPI boost for the Bulldogs compared to some of the cannon fodder they might otherwise schedule (Portland State, etc.).

Go Bulldogs!

in a few years. Maybe the Zags & Ducks will hook up. Not sure how the brackets will work.
