Gonzales and Olson have handled being the #1 and #2 starters superbly. However, the Zags have been all over the roster as far as who they have turned to for the 3rd game of each WCC series. They have gotten a little lucky in winning some of those games with offense. However, playoff season is almost here. The WCC Tournament is double-elimination and the Zags will need somebody who they can depend on for a necessary 3rd win (and possible game 4). And if the Zags get to the NCAA, they will almost certainly need more than 2 decent starting pitchers.
