We have young men come into the program, year in and year out, year after year, and we marvel at the skills they develope and display for us. Such as:
1. Hard work- day after day after day, when the camaras are not running and
year after year.
2. Teamwork- not everything for me and as much as I can get, but let's
all work together to be as good as we can be.
3. Balance- so much time for their sport, so much time time for classes,
so much time for social activities, and so much time to be civic minded,
etc.
4. Disipline- in every aspect of their young lives, they show the finist
example for us in the very best of adult thinking and doing what they
know to be right.
I could go on but please add your thoughts to this list and maybe at the end we can determine what it means to be "A Zag".
Thank you, all Zag players, whatever your role in life for being a shinning example for all of us on how to live and improve our lives.Example is allways the best teacher. Which brings me to Mr. Mark Few and associates. As mentors for our kids, we have the cream of the crop. we are blessed to have a coaching staff that puts the good of the players first, and then comes the game. How rare across the land for a coaching team to work for the good of the players and their personal growth first and their own careers, money, and personal glory second. Mentoring young players by example.
You see, in the game of life, Gonzaga can never lose because these young players will go forward and affect everyone they encounter for many generations. Live by example and pass it on. Go Zags
