    Perspective live from SLC

    Tough loss.

Thought we had it when Zags went up by 7. Crowd was going crazy. Zags fans left it all on the court.

David's inbounds violation was a huge turning point, IMO. Not blaming him for the loss, but you could feel the game turn for the worst at that moment. The Shocker 3 that followed the violation was a killer.

The Shocker 3's were insane--seemed they were being shot from the downtown Mormon Temple-----it was almost as if you could feel they would hit another one...and another one....

Obviously, the poor early FT shooting turned out to be signficant.

The missed bunnies were also a killer.

The sun will come up tomororw and we have a long trip home. I do fear the Zags have hurt their position in the basketball world for the moment. They really needed and had a great chance to show the world this year, and it was a big missed opportunity.

What are you doing, Adam? Do you even know how many people go blind from pizza shrapnel?

Thanks Cal. Lot's of disappointed Zags left the arena, but it was a good season overall and the Shocker fans were classy winners.

Agreed. Live, that turnover was the game. I won't rewatch it to see how it appeared on tv. Dranginis needs to be the backup guard if this team is planning on going anywhere in march next year. He will have to up his game tremendously and be given time in games to do so. We know what ds brings. It is appreciated. It is not enough at the high D1 level. If there is no move to groom a new backup pg, we are in trouble.
