Game tied at 31 with a minute left in first half

34-31 Iowa St. at halftime. Zags defense looks good. They turned over IA St. five possessions in a row toward the end of the half.

03-23-2013, 01:30 PM
Cyclones score 6 to start the half. Ouch.

40-31, Iowa St with 17 minutes left.

03-23-2013, 01:32 PM
45-41 Cyclones.

Zags are catching up!!

Go Zags!!

the Cyclonettes are probably just glad that they aren't playing Brittany Griner

I had trouble at first. Make sure your pop up blocker is off and you have to log in to what your internet provider is.

Espn 2 has been on this game for awhile now and should stick with it until the end.

229SintoZag, I believe the Gonzaga game was blacked out on ESPN3 in the Puget Sound area. It was shown on ESPN2 locally.

Great season! Keep up the hard work.

I thought we would win that game especially since it was in Spokane. Ia St. hit 17-18 FT's and Gonzaga shot 32% from the field.

Missing critical shots and getting out rebounded by12 killed every momentum swing we had. IaSt took 44 shots in the game. Gonzaga took 71 shots.

Our women had a bad year shooting (for the most part). Plus, the best shooter (Karr) is a senior. Better hope Coach Graves has some scorers coming in next year. We've gotten bigger, and the defense is excellent - just need to hit a higher percentage of shots.

During introductions when one of our girls came out, and when one of ISU's girls came out...Wow. We were thin, they had tree trunks from the waist down. It was astonishing to watch. Bigger, wider, taller. The Zags were tossed around like rag dolls. Stephanie was tossed and hit the floor so hard I heard the "THUD!" up on the concourse level. Taelor Karr must've felt like a running back after a few dive plays against Dick Butkus. ISU took no prisoners. Credit to them. Zags gave it a great effort, though, and the crowd was terrific.
