I'm no art expert, (even if I did take a 1-unit sculpture class in Florence) but that statue looks more like George Takei than John Stockton. I still love the picture.

I think NumberCruncher is noting the huge difference in height between John Stockton, the statue, and David Stockton. :)

I remember reading an article about how the sculptor counted the dimples on a basketball and made sure there were exactly that many on the one in the sculpture...I guess that's where he put all of his priorities for accuracy, because it sure wasn't the likeness.

Thanks for the picture link. There are so many great stories with the Zags players and sub stories with family and friends this season, one I hadn't given much thought to was John Stockton enjoying this record breaking season with his son on the team.
