I am too lazy to Google it, but does anybody recall Selection Sunday falling on St. Patrick's Day prior to this year? That's like having Easter and Christmas on the same day, but better.

What are your celebration plans? The Lovely Mrs. '75 and I are going to a big St. Pat's party with real Irish people and real Irish whiskey, but only after Selection Sunday is resolved and we have time to finalize tickets and travel plans for the Tournament.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to All, and

Go Bulldogs!

Easter is early, the NCAA Tournament is late...strange year.

We are typically done with brackets and playing games by March 17th but not this year.

It being a Sunday, I will likely hold meself to a pint or two. But in McZag tradition, an official St. Patty's Day blessing will follow when we get a wee bit closer to the feast day.

None of you people can touch my mom's Irish soda bread recipe. Actually, it's here, and my gramdmother's, and great-gramdmother's......you get the idea.

No better way to celebrate a great bracket placement come Sunday...
