We have to keep winning this next week, a 1 seed would be immensely helpful for our chances in the Big Dance.

#1 overall seed has typically been a curse, kiss of death, etc. unless you're from the SEC.

But just trying to grasp that is incredible. Would be the first "mid-major" to hold that distinction. In a time where other mid-majors have made Final Fours (06 George Mason, 08 Memphis, 10 Butler, 11 Butler, 11 VCU)...getting this would be awesome. But I would be upset if they didn't win the championship if they had it.

I don't think it will happen. If Georgetown, Indiana, Duke, Kansas win their conference tournaments they may snatch it from us.
