Other Games - Monday, 3/4/13 (http://scores.espn.go.com/ncb/scoreboard?date=20130304&confId=50)

#4 Kansas vs Texas Tech, 4pm
#8 Louisville vs Cincinnati, 4pm
Baylor @ Texas, 6pm
Montana @ Southern Utah, 6:05pm

Baylor has lost 7 of its last 10 games, and now needs help to prevent a trip to the NIT. Hopefully it can beat Texas and then steal a game from Kansas on Saturday.

I Hate Texas in all its forms, but I will be rooting for TT today over Kansas. The KU team is fast closing on a #1 seed along with Georgetown and others. GU needs some underdog winner help to keep the hounds at bay for another week and a half.

Go Bulldogs!

Apologize - I didn't see this thread when I posted an identical one - - though not as complete as this one.

Thanks.

Louisville pulling away up 8

Some of you might not realize that I live in Kansas. Daily I hear how GU isn't a real program. Their schedule isn't tough. Of course they win all their games. Blah blah blah.
Today I finally fought back with:
"TCU is pretty tough. I understand that loss."
"Gonzaga only needed one game to beat OK State AND Oklahoma. How many games did it take KU?"

More often than not, Kansas looks scary good. I can say the same for Indiana, Michigan, Louisville, and Duke. Save for running into those teams in the tourney, I think we could bully our way to the championship.

Kansas has weak guards. I am not afraid of a GU matchup there.

Looks like Baylor's gonna lose this one to Texas

Let's hope Baylor does some damage in their conference tournament, or they might not make it in the ncaa tourney

Nobody does less with more than Scott Drew.

I am afraid that is true.... and no one under achieves like Kansas... in spite of their remarkable record, it seems like they lose more games that they should win than any of the other elite programs...

On the contrary sir. Lorenzo Romar does less with more on a fairly regular basis.

Yes, definitely true. But in his defense, he starts with less.

Montana won in overtime. They are 21-6 and 17-1 in the Big Sky.

Chalk your opinion and mine up to regional bias. We're probably both correct.

I suspect that there are a lot of teams that would just assume not see Montana in the first game of the tourney. I know that I would count us as one of them.
