31 Point margin of victory and the Zags juggernaut sails onward and upward. Zags win the battle of the boards, 34 - 16, 76% from the FT line, and 55% from the field.

Zags clinch @ least a share of the WCC regular season championship

The bench chipped in 35 points.

Who get's your tip o' the Zags cap as the player of the game ?

Pangos and it isn't just from the power of suggestion by the TV folks.

Pangos for me. 18 points, no T/O's in 28 mins. Defense award to the whole team.

It is a shame he is not still in the running for the Cousy Award...

Easy one today. When both our frontcourt (kelly &/or Elias) and our backcourt (Kevin &/or Gary, etc.) are playing productively on both ends of the course, we are pretty much unstoppable!

Must keep that fire to continue to get better, one game at a time!

Beat Byu for outright winners and the start of another long streak as WCC Champs! Then we can focus on to the teams next goal of the Season...

Good Job Kevin- Go Zags :000tens:

Harris really set the tone early but it seemed like GU really didn't put it away in the first half though it never seemed the an "L" was a concern. GUnit to Pangos for overall game.

p.s. Is that box score correct? Did KO really have 7 TOs? Didn't notice.

Pangos hit his first bucket of the game, and Mrs Woohoo says 'I have a feeling Pangos is going to have a really good game."

Good call Mrs Woohoo....good call...

Kevin Pangos

but what an all out demolition of poor USD. The defense and rebounding was stifling, overwhelming. at one point USD had only 10 boards after almost 30 minutes of playing time! GBj on Dee was awesome to watch, the guy barely touched the ball

Grier gotta be on thin ice. Usd just opened world class baseball field and team is always nationally ranked as is soccer. Football, even post Harbaugh, does well. SDSU doing so well, although with bus depot philosophy off court and aau attitude on court, so that puts pressure on usd. One more year, maybe. Plus usd draws flies other than GU and BYU games..

I think KO had a perfect game shooting. Not the first as I recall, either. Excellent.

Drew, too, had a really good game. Definitely sub of the game.

DS turned in an excellent game overall, too, imo, doing his best to get PK and SD handles. Handles they managed numerous times to juggle. But they got some work in.

Pangos for me. Bell for defense. Kelly for "what the heck can we do?" And Harris for BMOC.

I agree that Grier is on thin ice/hot seat, but is there anyone out there that could do a better job? Maybe; one would think getting talent to San Diego would be an easy sell, but it apparently is not so easy. I thought they made a mistake when they fired Holland, but with what has been uncovered since he left it makes me wonder if he had enough if any control over what was going on around him at USD.

Maybe next year USD turns it around, but it won't be so easy with those Mini Me sized guards. :D

Perfect game, except 7 TOs...., if the box score was right. Cherish the rock big fella.

I voted for "the bench."

35 points and 15 rebounds against a team that only had 16 boards as a group. Wow.
