Video story from Lukens at Large http://www.lukensatlarge.com/features

High points:

* Going to GU to play was a dream come true. Everybody there was great. Liked his teammates. Seems to have no hard feelings about his experience.

* Realized after a year of sitting how much he missed playing.
* Realized he would not be playing this year either.
* Tommy Lloyd was instrumental in hooking him up with North idaho College.
* Likely will only be there one year.
* Academics at NIC are a joke, and it lets him concentrate on basketball.
* NIC is looking at a shot at the NJCAA Tournament.
* Getting looks from Big Sky and WAC teams and at least one WCC team.

My prediction is that he will end up at EWU where he would be reunited with G-Prep teammate Parker Kelly.

Good for him. Here's wishing him all the best, though would prefer not to see him on a WCC team, for selfish reasons.

I'm sure the Academic Dept. will make sure to add that to the literature.

As an EWU season ticket holder I would love to see him in Red and White.

Given the size of his heart, if there was any justice in the world, Chris would be 6'11 and ready to go with Karno and Sam next year.

Alas, his father (one of my favorite profs) didn't go more than 6'0 so I think he hit his peak at 6'6 and there is quite the back-up of guys that size at GU.

Eastern makes a ton of sense, although I would also like it if he joined the always tough program at Montana - he could at least get into the NCAAs, unlikely at Eastern. Even Univ. of Idaho would be a better shot at post-season play than EWU. Any interest from the Cougs?
