The 99 team was so much more than a Cinderella team. Nearly took out UCONN. Like rennis said, massive cajones AND an awesome team. So tough to beat in the big games.

True. They had some head-scratching losses to nobodies during the regular season. Caught fire in the tournament and benefitted from being somewhat obscure. Still, they've done what no other squad did and until that happens then they own the scoreboard.

09... but of course that was a occasional problem....they had it all...didn't always use it....might have been less chemistry on that team of any since 99...he would never admit it, but I suspect this is Few's favorite team....I suspect the 09 team drove him crazy...

I can see what you are saying, and If we are talking greatest team then I'd make the same argument. But if '09 was playing '99, and I was betting my life. I'd have to take '09.

2003-04 team should be an option as well. I think it's between this years team and the 2004 squad. The size, depth, and balance of both teams puts them at the top.
