I guess that makes them "officially" the BiS opponent on Dec. 29.

1. What's the odds that KeyArena sells out for this game?

2. Which team would win, Tennessee or Memphis, if they played midseason? I see they play in Feb.

3. Does Pearl mean Ray Meyer, the legendary DePaul coach, or was there a Ray Mears?

1 - odds of the key selling out will partially depend on how gonzaga has done so far, but i'd say well over 50%, the key isnt that big.

2 - on a neutral court, mid season, the winner would be whoever plays a better game. both teams are very talented and looking to have big years. i personally like tenn better (more out of distaste for calipari), but talent-wise they are both looking very good. i guess a lot of it depends on the play of derrick rose, and whether he is as good as advertised. i dont see any decided edge between these two teams, at this point

1. I would have thought that the Seattle return of Quin Snyder in the first BIS with Missouri would have had the best chance of selling out, but it didn't. Last year's game with Nevada had the highest attendance of the BIS series and that was about 2000 less than the 17,000 (or so) capacity. I'd guess no sell-out this year, as well.

2. Throw up the ball.

3. Ray Mears, long-time Tennesee coach, died (http://http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/12/sports/ncaabasketball/12mears.html?ex=1186545600&en=3170d4e8d2931e45&ei=5070) at age 80 this year.

Thank you, Google.

I predict that the winner of the Tennessee/Memphis game will be the team that scores more points. You can quote me on that.
