Did I miss the much needed report from Butler Guy?

Boy oh boyo. Half the members over there are assured that is was an intentional dirty play, and the coach directed the play with the intent to hurt Rotnei, and that Butler never has fouled to make the player earn it at the FT line.

I am sure that anyone that even touches him is going to be accused of trying to target him.

Well that was a waste of time.

Boring... do they have any games coming up?

What a poor board for such a great program (I'm talking about Butler).

We have a great board AND a great program.

the Butler board has very few comments about our game coming up with them

showed the pic of Adam crying after the loss to UCLA
'it's hard to hate on the zags'
will be monster game
how did they beat Ok State by only one pt when they outrebounded OK by 37-22

whats there is good, but there isn't much yet, or I couldn't find the right threads

Whatever they say they're gonna be very worried about Zag ability to score. Game hinges on D for both teams w/ or without Rotnei Clarke. Zags bench is DEEP. We'll wear Butler out.

Zags bench is DEEP.

This hasnt been the case since early December :D

I think we'll see the same game plan we've been seeing: get it to the bigs. Hope the flu bug gets kicked by everybody and on an up side, maybe Bell will be able to concentrate on scoring a little more if he isnt drained from defending their #1. I would love to see KD and DB get some good looks during the portland game to get them on track for adding in some contributing minutes against Butler.

Found this gem in a thread called "Next Gonzaga?" ( Started in Feb 2010 )

The more I watch Gonzaga, the more I question whether Butler will ever get to their level. While we have enjoyed great success over the last 10 years, it doesn't really compare to what the other small, private school from the NW has accomplished. The crazy thing is that this was supposed to be a "down" year for them while losing Downes, Pargo, and Heyfeldt from last year. But they rebuild like a Big 6 program and, at this point, really isn't considered a mid-major anymore. They win big OOC games like no other mid-major program and amass great talent every single year. They recruit very talented bigs and get players from all over the world, let alone the U.S. Their tourney success is documented and they put a player into the NBA every other year. I wonder what their BB budget is?

I look to their example as to where BU needs to be. We are about as close as any mid program for sure. Getting Howard, Mack, Hayward, and now Marshall is allowing BU to separate themselves from other mids, but I wonder if they can ever get to where the other Bulldogs have gone?

They've come a mighty long way since 2010. . .
