Mathis Monninghoff is not technically a transfer as he plays professionally in Germany for TBB Trier. His stats are found at http://statistik.basketball-bundesliga.de/beko-bbl/statistik/spieler/index.php?team_id=414&saison=2012&spieler_id=9030.

A couple of other transfers, GJ Vilarino and Bol Kong left programs after end of last season (Vilarino left Appalachian State and Bol Kong left St. Francis Xavier University) and aren't playing anywhere this year.

Which scholarship players currently on the Zags roster would you like to have not here? I know we have one or two open schollies, but if all those transfers were here, several players would not be.

I was thinking he was just giving us an easy way to follow them, not to be critical in any way.

That's correct. I was simply curious about how they were all doing and thought I'd share where you can see their season stats. I enjoyed watching many of these guys while they were at GU and hope they're having great success wherever they're playing.

Thanks, azzag.

Poling only getting 19 MPG. Anyone know if that is related to health issues?

I apologize. Things have been contentious here at the GU boards, and the topic of transfers, and how well some are doing, has been brought up several times. I am happy for those that are having success, but am very happy with our current roster. About the only one that I miss is Spangler, but don't know where he would fit in with our 4 bigs.

I'm not sure if it's related to health issues specifically, but SPU goes about 8 deep currently and I believe some of those minutes may have been used up by Patrick Simon who transferred from Wazzu (interesting stat is their leading rebounder is Riley Stockton, David's cousin, who went to Ferris). Many of the games where his minutes have been limited have been due to foul issues. They are also due to get Shawn Reid, who was Montana State's second leading scorer last season, back from injury very soon.

He would probably be on a redshirt so that we could unleash him on the rest of world after K.O. and Sam Dower graduate. I really wish we'd held onto that kid. He wouldn't do much, this year, but he'd be great to have as a sixth man, next year, and as a two-year starter after that.
