As INSANELY exciting as that 1st half was, the 2nd half was the COMPLETE opposite.

But, a dubsadub! Go Zags!

Pangos! Every time we were close, he stopped us. Great game, can't wait for Moraga now!

Too many missed bunnies to vote for Kelly in this one, and Pangos was clutch.

Pangos is a trooper.

Kudos to all who guarded Dellavedova.

Kiddwell voted for someone else: SMC. They knocked the snot out of us in the second half, almost won. We deflated. Maybe this's good. Maybe we take every possession seriously in the next match-up.

Honestly, Saint Mary's, didn't think you had it in you.

Pangos. He realized this thing was slipping away and just went street on it. Made his own shot and made it happen.

KO was great too... but Pangos saved the (Canadian) bacon tonight.

Voted Kevin because:1) He was clutch BIG time, and 2) I am tired of the Top Scorer always winning GUnit regardless of the pivotal impact others may have. But I have to say the second half performance was discouraging. This wasn't about officiating or injury or bad luck or a hostile court. This was about something else I don't even want to think about.

KO with another 30+
Props to Pangos.
Props to Deli for not making the 3 point play!
Zebra's, not so much.

Pangos! Kevin played hard for 40 minutes. He was the real deal tonite. We bend but don't seem to break. Give SM credit for inspired play in the second half. This is going to be a fun season.

Go Zags!

Kevin Pangos because he had the fire, and he played all out all night. All night he went 100%, and I can't say that about anyone but him and Hart and Gary. Bell has lost his shooting touch and doesn't seem to be finding it. Stockton just can't shoot at all. Period. And Pangos had the fire. Yes, I agree about Kelly. HOw many times did he get outrebounded? Way too many. He did not play tough at all. Waldo pushed him around the second half.

KO for carrying the team the first half
Pangos shout out for stepping up big

Kelly was trying to do too much and forcing a bit, he needs to let it come to him. Still, one heck of a game. Biggest point guard in the nation.

Kelly probably should have had a 40+ point night so I almost gave it to pangos. But that kind of dominance is unreal. Back to back 30 point games.

But I voted for Pangos. He was the "steady Eddie" tonight

Have to call out Bell's defense on Delly.

Why? Deli was 4-15/2-9 from three. I would say, Bell did an excellent job.

Oh, you meant that! Lol!

Bell has lost his shooting touch and doesn't seem to be finding it.

Gotta be the injuries. The textbook stroke is gone. Someone that seemed to have inside info said he was re-aggravating the stomach muscle every game and had to play through the pain.

His shot doesn't look the same. I've seen him play since his so yr in hs, and never seen his release look uncomfortable on a regular basis like this.

Pangos and his broad shoulders. Put the team on his back the last 5 minutes and refused to let HIS team lose.

Voted KO - mainly the 31 - we needed them all. It was a tough choice though. They're both so good and I'll bet the both get better. Kelly seemed a bit off with what was called for fouls and what wasn't. I think the refs let a bit too much go. The next game with SMC will be very interesting. We'll see just how good the Zags are against Butler. If Bell and Harris can both have a good game Butler will have a very hard time with the Zags.
Another thought - I'm liking KO's consistency. His points just keep climbing.

brought it at just the right time.

DS for sub of the game. 7 assists and 1-2 steals. 1 T.O., as I recall.

p.s. we should have a sub of the game to go with mvp.

Not a good practice for butler. We were sloppy and we had too many broken up O's and D's.

Where are the rebounders and why are they standing watching.

We will see different game against Butler on Saturday. More Karno.

my vote's for Pangos 22pts, 40 mins and 0 turnovers, Kelly had a great game, but a few missed bunnies, 5 turnovers, and a couple of forced shots tipped the scales to Kevin

KO good but pangos better, KO missed shots down the stretch and turned it over after a spectacular first half.

also we got beaten on the boards. those are the reasons i gave it to pangos. 8-12 shooting 3-3 from 3, 3-3 from line wow

Surprised Pangos is leading. Kelly all the way for me. The team looked like they were just waiting for Kelly to create and take over on offense in the second half. Eerily reminiscent of Morrison in that regard. There were a few times when Kelly was driving and dished it off close to the basket. He's got to take those!

Kelly is the real deal but could have been close to 40 if he made some bunnies down the stretch...gotta go with KP for putting the Zags on his back and carrying the end of the game.

Go Zags!!

GBJ was not very accurate last evening and I think we worry about his lost shooting stroke...I think we maybe over thinking this...

His misplaced shooting stroke will be similar to my attempts at weight loss...within in days of losing weight, I find that it has returned to me. GBJ will find the stroke he misplaced and it once again will prove to be lethal...IMO

Yes, we sure missed several chippies in the second half...BUT in the first half alone, KP missed one, DS forced two layups in stead of passing off, EH missed two and KO missed as well. The score at half time could well of been 56-28.

It has to be. I re-watched the last minute of the game and we were just damned lucky. Delly blew past GBJ and a fortunate roll off the rim gave him only a 2-shot foul insted of an "and one" that would have tied the game. Pangos missed a runner that should have iced it. Harris got a tie-up instead of a foul. Delly faked GBJ and got off an open 3 that missed.

It was bad. We were saved only by the partiality of the Almighty.
