Sad, sad news.
I was searching the web looking for some good stories on Jeremy only to find his 12 year old cousin died yesterday.

If anybody is good at internet searching, and would be willing to find and post where the family wants donations to be made, it could mean a lot to Jeramy if a bunch of us sent donations to those organizations. If this happens, be sure to include that you are a freind of the Zags or something so that word gets back to Jeramy that we were thinking of him and his cousins family.

fonebone, nice idea. from what i find arrangements are still pending. i am sure this is the last thing they thought they would ever have to plan at this time.

"Associated Press - August 3, 2007 1:24 PM ET

CHICAGO (AP) - Funeral arrangements are pending for a 12-year-old Chicago boy who appears to have been electrocuted after coming in contact with an air conditioner while playing outside with a cousin."

Before doing anything of this sort, please contact the AD and make sure that it would be compliant with NCAA regulations. As good hearted as it is, this could be a violation.

Bulldogs - good point. If would be interesting if making a donation to a charity in the name of someone would be considered providing a prohibited benefit to an athelete - but who knows - stranger things have happened. I will be sure to check first.

looks like he was a sweet kid

"He's a sweet, loving boy," said Vontrail's grandmother and guardian, Helen Pargo. "He always said, 'Grandma, when I get grown, I'm going to take care of you."
