Zags Visit Sacred Heart Children's Hospital

    From earlier today:

You have to love the Gonzaga fan. Not satisfied to be affronted merely by common hosings at the hands of ragtag referees, he plows all avenues of discontent. - John Blanchette

Gonzaga University...Home of the Zags...The Bulldogs. If you pronounce it "Gone Zaw Ga," they'll know you're not from here and they may charge you more for your coffee. - Garrison Keillor

I love that they take the time out of their busy days to go do something so wonderful and meaningful like this. I hope they know how much it means to those kids! They are lucky to have Few, who is so passionate and gracious, as their coach. I feel lucky to be a fan of this team who works hard and stays humble. This makes me even more proud to be a Bulldog. Go Zags!

i wait for photographs of these visits every year ... i look into the eyes of the team ... and see how the program nurtures the lads on so many deeper levels than rebounds per game ... building a more compassionate future global civilization.

                            Service above self

Look at the photos carefully- you can tell that the lads were putting their hearts into this
great community service event not just 'checking the box' so to speak. Well done! I am certain the team made a huge difference for those hospital bound Zags fans. May their health improve and may the team play hard for them- CRUSH SMU!!!
