    Basketball rules query



    In this much-circulated photo (sorry, don't know how to post) Olynyk and Hart are appearing to link arms to block out OSU's player on a rebound. Technically is that a legal move? In the rules, can 2 or more defenders ever link arms to prevent an offensive player from driving to the basket (assuming they stay stationary outside the "arc")?

    I would describe that as a "Red Rover" Defense.

        Do you mean the picture where Nash is grabbing TKO's arm with both hands and Hart is trying to get him to let go? Looks like a foul on Nash to me.
