The polls put even more pressure on today's game. I wonder if the team knows and if they will dig in and fight to protect their spot going into the WCC.

We'll be there till we lose. Let's keep winning. Nothing succeeds like good performances.

I'm glad to see us ranked so highly, but how are we ranked ahead of a one loss Illinois team in all three polls?

Glad to see we're back in the top ten. But I'm watching Michigan state vs Minnesota right now and I'm telling ya, we are NOT playing at the level of this game right now. Every one of our guys should be watching this game on the plane ride back.

We haven't lost a game since they visited. They have.

and they play down/up to whoever they face.

That's funny because I watched the same game and was thinking we match up real well and play better as a team with greater depth and discipline then either of those two teams

I 100% disagree with this.

Funny, I watched Baylor play three games prior to playing us. I did not honestly think we could keep up with their quickness and athleticism. I was dead wrong, this group of young men can play with anybody...sans free throws that is :)

+1 I have to say that Gonzaga has proven it can match up with any team in the NCAA...and can beat any team if they shoot well from the outside like Pangos had it going Friday.

While I think we could hang with either MSU or MN(deceiving when teams are athletic), I must admit I feel pretty proud about my post from early November:

I have season tix to those Gophers and I must say, don't sleep on Minnesota this season!! #underrrated

athletic wings, solid rebounders, well coached, and some skilled forwards. One of the best athletic wings in the nation in Rodney Williams, plus Trevor Mbakwe returns this year, albeit a little hobbled at the moment.

They were unranked to start the season and currently ranked #9 and beat up on Mich St today by 16.
