Vegas has more confidence on the Zags than most of us here.
I can see line will change to OKS as the favorite by game time, at least I hope.

By the numbers GU has the advantage. But OK St remembers Adam Morrison.

This is totally a 50/50 matchup. But OK st being at home gives them a slight advantage IMO.

It think Pangos understands better how to play with his overall strengths as a PG within our teamwork strategy. We don't need to beat their back court per se. We just need to stay even with them and let our front court score the buckets at a 65% clip. Harris is money from the line lately and his quick 2 big steps are the 2 biggest steps in the nation, IMO. I think Pangos, Oly and Harris will be the deciding factors in this game. If they can stay consistent fundamentally and dictate the tempo we will stay with OK St.

But if OK St dictates tempo and gets the crowd momentum, it will be a long night and we cannot afford to come out flat and miss bunnies like we always seem to do (Edi) and then we flounder for the first 5-10 minutes. We cannot afford any floundering periods. We have to play smart by limiting TO's and we have to figure out how to set up our offense so we beat their back court often enough to dominate in the paint. Of course that depends on if we can hit a couple 3's early to strike fear about our 3 pt range.

OK St has won 180 of 184 of their last home games. We have some work to do to get out of there with a W. Seriously, they're better at home than we are. Hope Kevin stays hot. The bigs though should go wild. Their defense against bigs isn't the greatest.

"Holy Archives Batman, that is a lot of archives."

But an article does quote this:

Oklahoma State has won 180 of 184 games against nonconference opponents at Gallagher-Iba Arena since 1987.

We are non-conference. This is the Key. However we have played more Big 12 teams this year than OK St has yet so we know the style of play in the Big 12-2, right now.

I like our chances.

BCS schools play most of their home nonconf games against the little sisters of the poor. The 180-4 record means little more than the Globetrotters' record v the New Jersey Generals.

Tossup game, factoring in location.

current line OKS -2.5 over/under 138

I feel better now that we are the underdog. Lets do it Zags!
