    KO vs Top 7 Footers

I created two of these for Kevin and Gary last year, I figured I will do the same for Kelly and Elias this year.

There was talk on the boards that Kelly could be among the best big men in the country. I was curious to find out if the stats supported this claim. I compiled some stats from seven of the top 7 footers(6-11 included) in the country.

Conclusion: I was moderately surprised with the results. Offensively he is worthy to be in the category, but just about everything else could improve significantly.

Notable: Highest FG% of any player over 6'9"

    Work on: Turnovers and fouls.

    All stats drawn from statsheet.com.

I had the template already made, it only took about 15 minutes.

Still though aw...it's a very nice contribution. I wonder where Plumlee fits in.
Kelly has surpassed my expectation....by quite a bit. A bit more work and he'll be an AA preseason next year. He's done the work and he deserves recognition.

Suggestion: Run the stats on a per minute played basis and also include steals and assists.

appreciate you putting that together. quick note-- i feel that reb/40 (and maybe reb% and team reb%), oreb/40, bl/40, foul/40, and +-/40 are also key values for comparisons like this... especially because kelly is at the far end of the spectrum in mpg.

easy enough to do myself, but figured i'd mention it for everyone else, anyway.
