Would love to see us schedule a game at Duke, and break their non conference winning streak, yes i am dreaming.

I guess that I have been too caught up in readying for Christmas so please excuse my need to ask - what did Kansas State do to suddenly deserve to be one rail down from us?? They sure didn't look like a top 20 team against us, not that I am complaining one iota, it is both a pleasant and needed surprise.

They beat #8 Florida a few days ago 67-61.

Hmm, wow - they just didn't look capable offensively to do something like that. Good win for them and us. Hope they have lit a spark that they can carry forward.

Game against Florida was probably a combo between K-State playing well and Florida coughing up a hairball (scaleball?).

Florida had the #1 scoring defense in the nation going into that game too! Florida just couldn't score on them.

have seen exactly 2 KState games, vs. the Zags and vs. Florida.

Difference to me (nutshell version) was Zags' ability to beat KState's 1v1 D in the paint; Florida had no such answers, or players, and GU had a few. KState trusted their bigs to take care of their own business defensively so the perimeter guys could focus on theirs; worked in the FL matchup, not the Zag matchup

so they got that jump. wonder what kind of matchups the committee will give each of those teams, and us, with the knowledge these games provide; which teams will luck out and get the favorable early matchups, which won't. It matters of course. Good for KState to receive so much love for winning that matchup vs. Florida.
