There were plenty of mistakes made tonight. As opposed to dwelling on those mistakes, let's hope the they learn from them, correct what's not working and move on. There's some great matchups coming up. It's easy to get upset about what happened tonight (I am) but there's plenty of opportunities to bounce back in the near future.

Hopefully none of those teams has athletic guards or 3 point specialists

I saw WSU being a chance to learn yet we ran into a similar team and we threw the same exact thing at them.

We need 110% defensive effort, and we have depth but don't rotate fresh legs? We leave out Hart and barely run Karno again? We needed to run, then run more, then run even more and harder. Use our depth!

What happened to "We can wear them down". Bell was right. Whatever line-up Few has changed for the last two games ISN"T working. go back to the first 8 games we played and stop fixing what wasn't broken.

we try to run with illinois and we would have got run out of the building...their guards scored with ease in transition.

I think that what we have seen the last two games is teams playing 3/4 guards and/or two athletic fours. Both teams had big athletic guards with long spans that have really given our guys trouble.

The only recipe to beat this team that I have seen is have big athletic guards slow our guards down. Pressure them and try to prevent them from making entry passes.

As I look over the box score, two stats jump out at me - Turnovers and 3 pt percentage. We shot 5-18. Not good. To say we are in a slump is an understatement. But Pangos was 3-8 or 38%. and if we would have hit 3 more .....

This is really the game I had in mind when I posted this thread. The Illinois loss is now a distant memory. BIG win for the Zags tonight.

Zags team shows growth, great sign, and a toughness tonight that they should be able to rely upon and believe in.

that was one hive's nest Ford and co. had all stirred up alright, and those kids overcame all of that

We just won against a talented, athletic, ranked BCS team on the road on national television. We don't need to talk about everything we did wrong. For all the ways we didn't execute we excelled in others to compensate. I'm not saying we should be sloppy, but I am saying we should be happy. Cheers!

The guy wearing #4 in my Avatar Box has brought much joy into my heart. I'm so happy for him finding his shot again. He played a great game tonight.

And what about his runnin mate, Gary Bell, for Whom The Bell Tolls.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're assuming I posted this thread tonight. It was actually posted after the Illinois loss back on the 8th. The redemption I was speaking of just happened. No pessimism here.
