I found one site that had Illinois favored by 3. E ven though I'm not a gambler, I'm surprised to be 3 point underdogs at home. Is this info correct?

Eleven is insane. As insane as plus three would have been, IMO.

I could be wrong but I think the site with Illinois favored by 3 is the line from last years game in Champaign. I was looking for the lines for tomorrows game and saw that and it threw me off too.

Illinois has no idea about the intensity of the Gonzaga fans, especially when you're the team on the floor facing the Zags. Illinois is a very good team but they haven't been to the Kennel --- and that venue takes some getting used to if you're from out of town.

I guess if we can't shoot free throws, can't hit 3-pointers, and our bigs take the day off, Illinois will have a chance to do what has been very hard to do --- Beat GU in the Kennel.

I like our chances tomorrow. Go Zags!!!

It's not like the Illinini don't play in hostile environments. They play @ Assembly hall. @ the Breslin center. etc. etc. etc. Just because some kids are screaming and jumping up and down while holding a big giant head of Rem Bakamus doesn't mean that all of the sudden they forget how to shoot the ball.

The home crowd is more about feeding the home team positive energy than it is about taking theirs. On Wednesday the ZZu crew sure energized the cougs to erase an 11pt lead in the blink of an eye, but it didn't prevent Pangos from hitting the game winner.

Statsheet has Gonzaga favored by 9. Not sure where they get their odds from. But that's what they have as of right now.

It probably is a site run by Illinois students or alumi.

-11.5 is the same line as the WSU game.

This.
I was checking from my phone.
I agree that -11 is just as absurd as +3. That is just too many. I was figuring Gonzaga would be favored by about 4.

The San Diego UT shows Zags favored by 12 this morning. Weren't the Zags favored by 10 at Washington St? now favored by more vs. a much better team, although at home. I don't bet on sports, but if I did I wouldn't take the Zags in this one.

I think it's an even game. The oddmakers quote each other's resources.
Kennel is a big factor as will be the 2 hr change. Illinois has the same guards we've preapred ofr in the past. Few and staff already know this Illinois tem.
My thought is that we can cover their guards IF Hart, Bell and Edi play like demons on defense. We need to make our FT's and we must rebound. Elias is key.
Kelly though....he should have a field day. Sam could but his defense precludes much court time.
Something tell me we win this one with defense and with the bigs unless Gary steps up big. Illinois and bigger athletes out front. Let's hope Kevin feeds the bigs well and runs the point well.
