Maybe there should be even more designations after Zag for Life considering all the postpadding going on in the Foo:)

Can a person make up one's own designation? "Chocolate chip cookie eater?" "Found by parents under a cabbage leaf?" Something other than the standard designations (automatically assigned by number of posts)?

BZ's Posting Level Designation, for instance, says "Juco Transfer."

At least I am locked in (?) at "Zags For Life."

i approached LZIF about this a while back. His answer was that if they let everyone change theirs, it would be a cluster (that isn't word for word, but pretty close).

I vote we have more designations, as well as after a certain amount of posts the poster gets to decide (obviously pending approval of mods). That way, it's kind of a reward for the achievement of being awesome.

I agree GA. More cool designations or even icons for each 1000 achieved after 10K, or at least spread the ones out to 1000 each because a new member can get 1000 posts in 2 days if they want. However I am not a fan of post counting and post-padding just for the sake of posting nothing for no reason. Especially people who can create spam bots to post automatically.

Keep official count on our profile page so whoever needs that type of bragging rights can still have it, but hide the count on public posts in favor of Zag related designations or icons.

However GA, we could create an Avatar with what ever we want in it, within reason. Apparently swarthy romantic pirates make the ladies swoon.
