From the TNT high school blog:

“They play my style of basketball, I feel like,” said Meikle, who said he has met former Bellarmine Prep and Gonzaga basketball star Casey Calvary once – two years ago. “The school and everything about it, it felt right – from basketball to school to the people. It is the best school on the West Coast.”

I have a good feeling about Meikle. Under the radar of so many because of his AAU choice of teams. Excited to follow his final season in high school.

Very good.

Seems like a smart, versatile player. A throw-back forward, if you will. Maybe a little Gordon Hayward in him, perhaps?

Only qualm I have about Meikle: he's 6'8" and weights a wispy 180 lbs. He makes Dranginis look like the Hulk. The size of his wrist and ankles tell me he doesn't have a ton of room to add a ton of muscle either, yet he can get stronger/heavier. Once he gains a little weight, just to protect himself at this level, he'll be good to go...

Nice find. Nice player.
