Gonzaga a 5-seed in San Jose (West bracket) vs. 12-seed Temple. Would likely face 4-seed UNLV in 2nd round. Also sets up potential rematch with Ohio State. Yes, I know it's still very early.

(St. Mary's 10-seed in Austin, BYU in 13-seed play-in game).

Lunardi Ranks the Zags 18th overall, 2nd of the 5 seeds.

On the same Bracketology page make sure to check out the video in the bottom left corner which shows Andy Katz, Dana O'Neill and Seth Greenberg's picks for potential Final Four contenders. Video version of Katz and Greenberg's podcast.

Thanks. Seems GU & BYU have remained fairly static, but Joey keeps moving SMC around. They've gone from an 11 down to a 9 and now back up to a 10. It'll be nice to get a few games out of the way so we can get a better picture of where teams belong.

I would LOVE to see GU be the 3 seed in that bracket, with first round games in SJ versus Philly.

I have 4 seats to the San Jose NCAA games, so no matter who or what else happens, I am cheering for GU to play in San Jose.

Plus the lovely Mrs. '75 who is waaaaaaay smarter than I am, has a wierd and abnormal love of the Winchester House.

Go Bulldogs! Play in San Jose!

That place is something else. I think that anybody who finds themselves close should check it out.

I counted 4 Pac 12 teams, and no UW.

UW is looking for some higher profile tournaments-- like the NIT -- they want to go all the way this year -- they want to be like Stanford and take it all.

Nice to know this thread won't devolve into the committee jobbing the Zags with the location of the site vs the opponent but can still hope for a poorly seeded argument to begin. Seriously Joe Lunardi has the best job ever.
