NCAA Announces its Dedication to "Consistency"

"The NCAA is putting a restriction on athletes who want to play immediately after changing schools to be closer to an ailing or injured family member.

"The NCAA said Friday that the athlete must choose a new school within 100 miles of the family member if they want to play right away. Otherwise, they will need to sit out a year as usual."

The NCAA said it was motivated to make the change because of criticism that it's prior waiver decisions were not consistent.

So ... we learn two things from this release (in addition to the 100 miles as the crow flies rule):
    1. The NCAA is now sensitive to criticism.
    2. What prompts the NCAA to clean up its act is the suggestion that it renders inconsistent decisions.

    Right.

    Post Office to Post Office?

    City Limits to City Limits?

Depending on the ruling that could put a kid from eastern Moses Lake out of bounds to the Zags!!
    But we don't play nobody.

100 miles as the African Swallow flies.

120 miles as the European Swallow flies.

And with a scarcity of coconut's in said parts, is a tumbleweed an appropriate substitution?

Tumbleweeds, jack rabbits, large apples, all are good substitutes.

Damn, when I saw the title, I was hoping this was about referees.
