KOs hair may be as bad as Morrison's 'stash.
:p

And yes, PK in lone pics didnt make my eyes pop out but with the others in the same pic, look at how wide those freaking shoulders are!

Landry is no slouch either.

KO has gotten bigger and looks a lot stronger.

Also of note: that is an 11-Deep team. Not many of those in D1.

When it comes to huge basketball players, my motto is:

Big Clumsy Project Player = bad, Bill Walton = good.

Here's hoping that The Big Pole is a lot more like Bill Walton and not at all like some of the well known GU project players from our recent past.

The early hype is encouraging, but the proof is in the box score.

Go Bulldogs!

PK is a big dude. He makes Dower look like a shooting guard in that picture.

It would be interesting to see a game between the left side and the right side, with the break at the two centres, (Gerard sitting, as not being eligible).

My Guess:

Team Harris by a narrow margin.

Gotta be 7-2 or 3. Stocks getting smaller?

At the Seattle preseason lunch, I am pretty sure the assistant coach said he thinks the Big Pole may play at 7'2" or 3".

He also said that when The Big Pole leans over to defend, the offensive player feels like it is a solar eclipse because The Big Pole blocks the lights.

Could be a very interesting year, in a good way.

Go Bulldogs!

KO passed by me the other day as I was looking down at my phone, I thought whom could be in those shoes?

Upon looking up and up a bit further it was KO....

Dang, PK (in the photo makes him(KO) look)...well small. Not sure if that's the right way to describe it...

Not the case..KO is a very big young man! The back pack he was wearing looked like it was his in sixth grade pack! And yes he was all hair!!

I'm excited to see PK's inside game.

:agreed:

Thanx for the pic, Abe!

I think ZN (or perhaps it was ZG) posted the other day she thought KO had already cut his hair. GUnawinit's post keeps the faith going on ZAG hair 2012.

Go ZAGS!

KP has to be foaming at the mouth with those guys to feed....PK...E...KO...SD....that some big dudes! We are physically gonna overmatch a few teams. PK looks 30-40 lbs heavier than Sam...and Sam goes 240 plus....YIKES!

The one thing I don't know about is PK's agility or leaping ability. We won't know for a few weeks yet. I do know he's very co-ordinated and has good vision. I hope we can get him some wheels though. Hard to find a giant kid who has a high level of agility. Drills help but only go so far. He gets up and down the court well enough with those long strides. I hope he can move on the inside.

The other kids like him a lot though. It'll be a very different year. Big big hole without Rob's talent and personality. His FT shooting will be missed. PK works on that. Hand is hurt. Soon we'll be up and running. I didn't like that exhibition game..........it's essential now.

time will tell if he can really play -- that so many experts predict great things is encouraging... but one this is certain, PK will fill space. I can't believe the size of him. Seeing him next to dower and KO is mind-blowing. Given that he's had a lot of international experience, he probably knows how to set and hold a position, but even if he doesn't, with that kind of size, it's hard to imagine even quality WCC 5's like Waldow pushing him off the block.

Hopefully, the rumored skill sets of PK and KO will be true. If they are, then this team will create unprecidented matchup nightmares for nearly every opponent this season. If they can survive together on the defensive end, playing KO and PK (or Sam) in the motion offense where Few has the posts alternate flashing the high and low posts will slaughter most teams.

Oh yeah, and we've got Pangos, Bell, and Harris out there, too.

Hard not to be encouraged by the makeup of this team. Looking at the picture, you've got top 15 talent. If they work together, possibly top ten.

No doubt...honestly, he makes Sam Dower (6'9", 240lbs) look like a SF & Elias like a beefy 2-guard. Instantly, one of the biggest in D1.

Can't wait for his match-up vs St Mary's C Waldow (who has self-proclaimed himself as the best big man in the WCC, btw)...

That PK reminds of another guy in a category.... or continent all by himself.

Too bad about Millard, MJ. He was before my time, but looks like he would have been a great college and NBA player if he could have stayed healthy. It's a reminder that being that big takes a toll on your joints and feet.

Brad did have some skills & like Omar, worked very hard to morph his body from Frosh to Sr.

It was too bad that he had all the physical issues.
