I got an e-mail from Dan Dickau about the upcoming Charity Classic in Spokane and noticed the Raivio will be playing. It should be a fun time. Anyone going?

I got the same e-mail. ...and I thought it was because I was special. My bubble is burst.

If I was in Spokane I'd go for sure. (and I wouldn't let the ticket prices scare me away either. Afterall it is for charity!)

Apparently he's also hosting a Celebrity Poker Tourney the night before the game...

(the only drawback I see is that it isn't on a weekend)

I'm so excited to go! TheZagPhish Clan is courtside for this one (not letting the ticket prices or school night scare me off)! Honestly, I'm not sure I can make it until November without the Classic. :D

Ditto. My family and I attended the first two and we were a little worried it wasn't going to take place this year. I can't wait to see DD and other alumni. I wouldn't miss it!

I will be courtside as well OZ, VERY excited to get a first glimpse of the year...
I agree about the ticket prices, not bad considering its all for charity!

We'll be there as well. Always lots of fun on this night and well worth the price. Additionally, there has always been loads of very nice autographed Zag memorabilia that is auctioned during this event.

I'm gonna try, but it will be difficult.

Damn, sometimes I wish I still lived in Spokane.

I would not mind that at all LG. I have never met any of you and to put a face to the typing skills would be new and exciting.

David's before the event...

It's on a Thursday, so we may have to get out of work a little early to share some pizza and beer, but I think it would be sooooo worth it!

Me too! As it turns out my boss is a 9th degree Grandmistress Zag fan, so cutting work early is pretty much mandatory. Half my team is going; it's almost a field trip!

Will we need to wear identifier badges, like "Hi, my name is TheZagPhish"? Or do I just drink enough beer to muster to courage to yell out something like, "Hey, where the heck is Lawzag, anyway?" I mean, I do still have to drive to K2 afterwards....

You can walk to K2 from David's, silly :P.

The game starts at 7, but I like to get there early; so I'm thinking I'll be leaving around 6:15.

How 'bout we all meet there at 4:30 ish to 5:00 ish...those who can't get away can feel free to trickle in. I'll try to get there around 4:15 and secure the large group of tables in the back area near the windows. I'll try to think of some identifiying marker for us...signage, or maybe I'll wear a silly hat.

I'll be there with bells on at 4:30ish & I expect to hear at least one heavily inebriated person yelling "where the heck is lawzag?" Awesome, our own senior KC!! Rowdy, raucous & ready for Zag basket ball!

ZN08 may be right - by the sound of the crowd, we might just take over the whole place :D
