To be played in Bangkok, Thailand, in August.

The Canadian Team will be released July 31st. Theo will be vying for a spot on the roster. I really want him to make the cut. He needs real game PT in a bad way. Shake off the rust.

Stay tuned.

How right you are, Theo needs to get into some serious competition. Pick upgames are great fun, but not the same as competing in game situations. Go Theo!!

Theo recently earned some praise from at least one follower of the Canadian hoops scene. From the World U training camp last month (link (http://wasssports.blogspot.com/2007/06/fisu-games-squad-to-take-next-step.html)):
Up front, the club could draw from a combination of strength, finesse and athleticism led by 6'8" Theo Davis......who has been a pleasant surprise with a tremendous team-oriented attitude and out-of-sight athleticism that should see him log minutes in the rotation.

I guess nothing we haven't already heard, but still cool. Here's hoping Theo makes the roster and gets some good run. And really looking forward to seeing him play in a Zag uni......finally.....

That's a spot-on description of Theo. He's not a power player like Sacre or Kuso, or JP before them, and was much further ahead of the curve than I expected last spring. With some PT in real games, he'll surprise some folks.
