Padres stand alone... Johann Satana pitches first Mets no-no. Great game to watch. 8020 games before their first.

Pretty hard to believe. They've had some real studs roll thru there over the years.

Haven't seen the replay yet but ESPN scroll says Cards hit a ball on the chalk that was ruled foul!

It was a bad call but every game has questionable calls. But as they also said on ESPN... if you look at the record books his name is there with a no hitter. IMHO the Mets earned it back with the Baxter catch going into the wall and the Murphy catch of the liner straight up the middle... both plays really should have resulted in hits.

I'm willing to bet that Santana comes up with arm problems within the next few weeks after throwing so many pitches.

Padres stand alone.

Petco is a pitcher's park, so a Padre is bound to throw a no-no sometime relatively soon.

I'm just happy the M's aren't on the list of 'no no-nos'. Thanks Big Unit(and Chris Bosio)!
