Redshirt sophomore Karl Myers made his first collegiate start on the mound in game two. He only pitched the first inning after the Ducks went to work right away and put three runs on the board without recording an out. Although the Bulldogs answered back in the first inning by scoring three runs of their own, but the Ducks score one run in the second inning and two more in the third to take a 6-3. Gonzaga defeated St. Mary's 4-3 in game two of a three game series Saturday afternoon at Louis Guisto Field.

Gonzaga's Marco Gonzales was the winning pitcher and increased his record to 6-1. He went 7.2 innings, scattering six hits, three runs, all earned, with six walks and seven strike outs.
