Searched but did not see this elsewhere;

At a time when elite recruits make their college choice at news conferences with a row of hats in front of them and their family at their side, one of the top available prospects in the Class of 2012 chose a school with considerably less fanfare.
Przemek Karnowski, a 7-foot Polish center unknown to all but the most diehard fans, said on Twitter on Wednesday morning that he will attend Gonzaga in the fall.
Karnowski's subdued announcement didn't draw the attention those of Nerlens Noel, Shabazz Muhammad or Tony Parker did last month, but the few who have seen him play insist he'll make a considerable impact as soon as next season at Gonzaga.

Tommy gets some well deserved recognition in this article also.

"What helped Gonzaga get Karnowski is the presence of Zags assistant coach Tommy Lloyd, one of the best European recruiters in all of college basketball. Lloyd, who previously plucked Harris from Germany, learned about Karnowski years ago and built a rapport with him long before most other staffs even knew who he was."

How long before Tommy is hired away at a BCS school? We're blessed with a cornucopia of talent at GU: Krause, Daniels, Lloyd, Giacoletti, and of course, Few.

BTW, a belated happy 50th shout out to Ray! He sure doesn't look like he's 50 YO.

At the end of the video on the linked page, I liked seeing him take that lob pass and score it without pulling the ball below the top of his head. Catch it and put it right up.

Definitely one of my favorite things about him is that he appears to have great hands, which is such a critical trait for a big man, and was one of Rob's real weaknesses.
