Tim Lewis from KREM, who has supplied us with links to KREM's GU player and coaches interview videos, is moving to the west side of the state to be the weekend sports anchor at KOMO. Thanks for the good work, Tim. Best of luck in Seattle.

Hopefully he will take GU sports with him, and provide us with more coverage over there. I would say the West Side, but that's what I call Airway Heights!

One of my Twitter followers mentioned this thread to me, so I wanted to get on here and say THANK YOU! I've truly enjoyed every second of my time in Spokane, especially covering the Zags. You are VERY passionate fans (unmatched by anyone else). That's made covering Gonzaga extremely fun over the last 5+ years. I'll defiitely be packing up all that GU spirit and taking it across the state with me. Thanks for all the well wishes and for making my time in Spokane memorable!

Tim Lewis

thanks for your excellent sports coverage over the years.

I expect to hear/read/see great things from you going forward and upstream in this very competitive market and business.

Tim Lewis did a great job learning his craft here and getting better. One of his best efforts was putting together a 30 minute special about John Stockton when he was inducted into the HOF.

He is ready to move up to a bigger market.

Fingers crossed that KREM 2 has someone lined up to fill the vacuum Tim's departure causes.

Would Huddy consider returning?

Huddy sort of burned his bridges at KREM when he announced his departure suddenly on air in the midst of KREM dumping salaries.

I hear Huddy is a budding espresso mogul soon to surpass Starbucks.

I usually am not very appreciative of the sports guys on the news stations here, but I really like Tim. Good luck.
